Job Description:

• Managing of all aspects of the project from initiation through to operational support
• Baselining project scope and required business outcomes, including defined deliverables, key interdependencies and resourcing requirements
• Providing a single point of accountability as the primary point of contact for the project
• Reviewing budgets, monitoring and reporting progress against the projects
• Managing the project against milestones and specifications and manage any change to individual project scope along with local country
• Ensuring that controls and measures are in place to assure the quality of everything required to be delivered
• Ensuring that key stakeholders are kept well informed with accurate and timely information of progress, risks and issues including the daily updates to hotel project team
• Making sure interdependencies with other projects are maintained, managed and properly co-ordinated.
• Utilise project management templates
• Work to project management best practice
• high level knowledge and hands on experience with the configuration and management of wired or wireless networks using hardware from different vendors: Cisco/Meraki, HP/Aruba, Ruckus/Brocade, etc
• good level of understanding of wired and wireless networking protocols: IGMP PIM, OSPF, QoS, LACP, STP, 802.11
• good level of understanding of last mile networking technologies: DOCSIS, GPON, P2P
• High level troubleshooting skills withing a very demanding evironment
• Good knowledge of digital audio/video technologies inlcuing IPTV and Coax
• Manage the Installation project plan as business requires and this may include performing site inspections throughout the installation process.
• Develop installation schedules, evaluate installation estimates, review contract modifications, and verify work performed to recommend
• Collaborate with and/or mentor service and installation technicians to ensure they are aware of technical and audio-visual issues, new technology, troubleshooting, and other issues as applicable
• Manage and direct the daily load of subcontractor assignments and job fulfilment obligations
• Evaluate customer installation concerns before, during and after installation
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a successful project completion
• Maintain an agreed-upon level of accuracy in measurements and installations with minimal rework and additional trips to the job site
• Define, standardize, and document all installation processes and ensure they are followed consistently
• Provide supervision and planning in the successful completion of specific projects.

Additional Information:

Expectations in terms of experience, education, behaviour
Experience:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Management
• Minimum 3 years of Project Management within the Hospitality Industry
• Networking expertise equivalent to CCNA (advantage)

Education:
• PMP or equivalent
• Education to degree level
